Course Aim

It's essential to recognize the importance of choosing between analog and digital methods when capturing comprehensive patient records. When considering full-arch implant restorations, it's beneficial to understand the strengths and weaknesses of both guided and non-guided surgical approaches. Additionally, planning pre-extraction for a guide comes with its own set of advantages and challenges. When comparing non-guided CBCT and visual-based surgery to guided CBCT surgery, each has unique benefits and drawbacks. Embracing a fully metal-free full arch restoration offers advantages, and there are various screw systems available for this purpose. Lastly, the adoption of iJig technology and grammetry/photogrammetry solutions can streamline the process of crafting entirely digital final prosthetics, leading to shorter patient chair times.

Course Description

This program delves into the fundamentals of full-arch guided surgery using the latest implant therapy techniques. Participants will learn the advantages of employing surgical guides for full-arch implant therapy compared to freehand approaches. Dr. Tawil will elaborate on the benefits of guided over non-guided surgeries, spotlighting the latest technological progressions in fully-guided surgery and advancements in prosthetic delivery for comprehensive arch treatments.

Furthermore, Dr. Tawil will illustrate how planning for full-arch guided surgeries can be streamlined, almost to a standard, ensuring ease of implementation and heightened success in both surgical and prosthetic outcomes. He will also present a simplified restorative approach that minimizes chair time and expedites case completion. Importantly, the course offers hands-on training for both surgical and restorative procedures.
