Course Aim

Upon completing this course, participants will gain the knowledge and skills to enhance their clinical decision-making based on case studies. They will also become familiar with the optimal procedures for initial examinations and strategies to improve the acceptance of treatment plans. The course will provide insights into the radiological interpretation of various conditions related to the oral and maxillofacial area. Additionally, participants will be equipped to discern when it's appropriate to refer their images to a maxillofacial radiologist for further interpretation.

Course Description

Cone Beam CT has revolutionized dental imaging, offering more detailed insights than traditional intraoral and panoramic radiographs. While a clinical exam remains a fundamental diagnostic tool for dentists, radiological exams, using tools like CBCT, complement these findings. This webinar will delve into the role of CBCT in general dental practice and the shortcomings of conventional radiographs.
