About the Lecturers

  • Dr. Konstantinos Vazouras

  • Konstantinos Vazouras, DMD, DDS, MPhil, MDSc, FACP holds multiple degrees, including a DDS from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and a DMD from TUSDM. Additionally, he has a Master’s from the University of Manchester, UK, focusing on Dental Biomaterials & Dental Technology. His specialized training took place at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained Certificates in Prosthodontics and Dental Implant Surgery, as well as a Master's of Science. After this, he received the esteemed International Team of Implantology (ITI) scholarship.Dr. Vazouras is recognized for his contributions, having co-authored several articles in esteemed journals. He excels in Implant, Esthetic, and Reconstructive Dentistry. He holds prestigious titles including Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, and Fellow of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. He's also an Associate Fellow of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontists and an ITI Fellow. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor and Program Director for Post-Graduate Prosthodontics.
  • Dr. Fabio L. Andretti

    Fabio L. Andretti, D.D.S., M.S., Ph.D serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is also a Trustee Board Member at the Hispanic International Mission and the Scientific Director of the Brazilian Society of Digital Dentistry. His educational journey began with a DDS from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil, where he furthered his studies with an MS in Dental Materials and a PhD in Operative Dentistry, completed in 2003 and 2011 respectively.

    Post his doctoral studies, Dr. Andretti achieved a post-doctorate degree in 2013. He subsequently assumed roles as a Speaker, Mentor, and Trainer for Dentsply Sirona Latin America, and as a Key Opinion Leader for Exocad Brasil. His linguistic prowess led him to translate over eighty prominent dental books across English, Portuguese, Spanish, and German, and he has also provided simultaneous translation for various lectures and courses.

    In addition to his varied roles, Dr. Andretti is a recognized educator and lecturer with several book chapters to his credit. He has co-authored and edited a Yearbook on Digital Dentistry, published by Quintessence Brazil.

Dr. Aldo Leopardi

Dr. Aldo Leopardi earned his dental degrees from the University of Adelaide in South Australia and the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM), Michigan. He further specialized in combined fixed, removable, and implant Prosthodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). His academic journey included faculty positions at UNC-CH, UDM, and the Colorado Health Sciences School of Dentistry.

In 1999, after a combined 15 years in academia and dental practice, Dr. Leopardi dedicated himself to private practice in Denver, Colorado, focusing on implant, fixed, and removable Prosthodontics. He is a sought-after lecturer both nationally and internationally on topics encompassing fixed, removable, and implant dentistry. His commitment to advancing the field is evident in his clinical research contributions, published articles, and textbook chapters. Beyond this, he founded the Denver Implant Study Club and co-established Dentutopia, a digital platform for dental education.

These individuals will need to settle their balances to confirm their spot. In case of non-payment, their reserved spot might be offered to another paying participant on the waitlist.

As of now, attendees of the Continuing Education/Lifelong Learning and Distance Education courses at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine don't need to undergo any screening. However, mask usage is advised in clinical areas and remains optional in classrooms.
