Course Aim

The primary goal of this Tufts Dental CE course is to present a systematic approach to prosthetic rehabilitation. It is designed to empower clinicians with the confidence to undertake comprehensive treatments involving veneers, crowns, and bridges on both natural dentition and implants, ranging from single restorations to full-mouth rehabilitations.

Clinical Procedures

This course meticulously outlines the clinical procedures essential for finalizing prosthetic therapy. Starting with the diagnostics and treatment planning, we transition into modern concepts of tooth preparation, previsualization techniques, and delve deep into the selection and management of restorative materials, inclusive of cementation methods.

Prosthetic and Implant Therapy

In prosthetic and implant therapy, achieving a predictable and top-tier prosthetic outcome is paramount. With a decade's worth of technological evolution, we've seen a shift from traditional methodologies to the introduction of progressive digital tools, such as CAD/CAM technology, guided implant surgery, and AI-driven diagnostics and treatment planning.

Digital Innovations in Dentistry

The Tufts Dental CE course accentuates how recent technological innovations have significantly reshaped both clinical and technical procedures, whether for teeth-supported or implant-based rehabilitations. The spotlight is on the minimally invasive prosthetic approach and its harmonious integration into the digital workflow.

Decision-Making Process

The course methodically breaks down the decision-making journey, guiding attendees on discerning the optimal prosthetic approach for diverse clinical scenarios, from single-tooth replacements to full-arch implant-supported rehabilitations.

Esthetic Treatment Considerations

Special sessions are dedicated to esthetic areas of treatment. We delve into diagnostic protocols, surgical techniques, and soft tissue management, especially when working with temporary restorations. Emphasis is placed on selecting the ideal restorative procedure, weighing the merits and demerits of both monolithic and layered approaches. The ultimate aim is to achieve seamless integration of the restoration while ensuring prosthetic outcome reliability.
